Toxicogenomics Integrated with Environmental Sciences (TIES) is an international conference highlighting innovative research and development through efforts in the fields of toxicogenomics and environmental genomics to elucidate perturbed biological mechanisms and pathways through bioinformatics. The goal of TIES is to provide a venue where scientists can exchange the current advances in bioinformatics applied to the fields of toxicogenomics and environmental genomics. TIES-2011 focuses on understanding the biology and bioinformatics behind events that govern toxicologic influences and impact public health.
Keynote speakers:
- John Quackenbush - Professor of computational biology and bioinformatics, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
- William Slikker, Jr., PhD– Director, National Center for Toxicological Research
- Rebecca Fry - Assistant professor of environmental sciences and engineering, UNC-Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health
- Xihong Lin - Professor of biostatistics, Harvard School of Public Health
